A ranch home gets a rustic modern makeover. San Francisco-based interior designer Sherry Hope-Kennedy, Studio SHK breathes modern life into a dated and dilapidated house located in Walnut Creek, Calif. by mixing warm color palettes with contemporary silhouettes and rustic elements. In an effort to maximize the natural light and bucolic setting, the light-filled space is decorated with minimalistic touches. Comfortable furniture is juxtaposed with clean lines while nature-inspired art and collectibles add an air of relaxation.
