We would like to invite you to a place full of Tranquility. Not far from the busy Prague streets full of dust and noise, you walk through an elegant house and you are there. Let yourself be carried away by a tour of the courtyard garden, in the very heart of Prague’s neighbourhood Vinohrady.

如何描述这处静谧之地？它不大，也不复杂。当你踏入这里，时代的魅力会将你全然包裹，将你带回那些早已逝去的旧日时光中。那时的生活节奏很慢，早晨不是用来阅读朋友的电子邮件或刷新社交媒体的，而是悠闲地坐在客厅里，看着女主人将早餐咖啡和蛋糕端上覆盖着雪白桌布的餐桌。
How to describe the Quiet Place? It’s not big and it’s not complicated. You enter, and you breathe in the charm of old times, the pace of life of days long gone. Days when the mornings were not spent reading e-mails and social media posts from friends, but in the parlor the lady of the house served morning coffee and cake on a snow-white tablecloth.

想象一下，在一个闲适早晨，你吃着完美的自制甜点，德彪西的大提琴和钢琴奏鸣曲的旋律随着清晨的空气从敞开的窗户传入你的耳朵。往外看去，两只鸽子在树梢荡来荡去。那时的生活节奏与我们现在的完全不同。在这里，那种时光的魔力仍然存在。封闭的建筑保护了庭院中的古树，鸽子仍在枝头咕咕叫着，当你走近窗户，夏日的清新气息从花园里倾泻而出，就像穿越回了一百年前一样。
Imagine eating a perfect homemade dessert for breakfast, and the melody of Debussy’s cello and piano sonata streaming through the open windows along with the morning air. You look out and there are two doves swinging in the trees outside. Life flows in a completely different rhythm than ours. Something of that magic remains. The sealing off of the houses has preserved the ancient trees where the doves are still cooing today. And when you approach the window, the summer freshness pouring from the garden is the same as it was a hundred years ago.

这座古宅由建筑师Jaroušek-Rochová设计，而对于Atelier Partero来说，景观设计只是建筑设计的延续，将这处静谧之地献给每一段珍贵的时光，献给那些看似平淡无奇的平凡日常，献给那些清新的绿荫和温柔的凉风。
In our design (house architecture by Jaroušek-Rochová architects) we have just continued. To what is precious in every time. The seemingly banal commonplaces – peace, green shade and a soft cool breeze. And so we kept as many of the existing trees in the small yard as we could, adding them very lightly, at the lower level of the planting canopy.

花园里，树干呈现出优美的生长之姿，树荫之间仅铺设了简单小路和自然的石子铺地。无论是从花园穿过，还是从住宅的各个楼层向外看去，都能体会到这种简洁朴素的美。院子里很干净，就像一张经过上浆熨烫过的复古桌布。这里没有草坪，所以你不用担心现代割草机的噪音。庭院的规划为后续在这添加长椅和花坛创造出可能，所有这些都是为了创造出更多树荫下的休闲空间。在圆形的花坛里，你会发现旧式绣球花和现代观赏草混合在一起，在夏季的几个月里，百合花和经典的玉簪花也将竞相绽放。
The trunks of the trees grow out of graceful shapes, with only simple paths and patches of stone surface between them. You can come in here and walk through the garden. The simple ornament is beautifully legible even from the individual floors of the house. The courtyard is so clean, starched and ironed – like a tablecloth from the old times. There are no lawns, so you don’t have to worry about the modern noise of a lawnmower. The yard is set up so that in the future, benches and garden beds can be added to sit in the shade of the trees. In the rounded beds you will find old-fashioned hydrangeas combined with modern grasses. In the summer months, lilies and classic hosta blooms appear.

这处静谧之地如今充满了宁静，而在未来的某一天，它也许会发生改变。随着时间的推移，这座老宅的底层将会被改造为咖啡厅，咖啡与早餐蛋糕的香气也许会重新回到它们曾经出现的地方。这座小花园也将变得拥挤，充满了咖啡的柔和香气，陶瓷勺子碰撞的清脆声响也将在环绕在人们的耳畔。但在这一切发生之前，在院子充满咖啡馆的声音之前，攀缘的藤蔓植物与铁线莲将爬满优雅的灰色墙壁，院子里新种的绣球花丛也将会生长地更加茂盛，
The quiet place is now truly full of peace. Perhaps that too will change one day. In time, a café will be built on the ground floor of the house, and perhaps the smell of coffee and morning cake will return to where it once was. The garden will be filled with people and with them the gentle aroma of the coffee and the sound of spoons clinking against porcelain. Before that happens, and the courtyard is populated by the sounds of the café, the bushes of newly planted hydrangeas will intensify, climbing suckers and clematis will wrap the elegant grey walls.

如今塑造了花园空间的小树也会随着时间的推移逐渐生长，我们期待着它们在未来为花园创造出更多的树荫。我们十分满意花园如今的宁静氛围，但同时我们也期待看到它恢复生机。
The young trees that already form the skeleton of the garden will also grow, so that one day the garden will be even shadier than before. We look forward to it. We are excited about the Silence of the present garden, and we are also looking forward to seeing it come back to life.
