Located in the vibrant capital of Warsaw, this contemporary home entitled “Modern Palace” by Mood Works (polish architectural studio, run by architects Dorota Kuc and Karina Snuszka) inspires elegance throughout.
The main goal was to integrate traditional furniture within a modern setting, that would complement the classic architecture of the house. In this home, the main idea of the project by was to create modern and elegant space, by combining the feeling, elements and traditional furniture forms from the Italian reinessance architecture together.
Natural elements, finest materials and interior colors, organic shapes and textures represent a contemporary feeling in design and decor, bringing unique furniture pieces and fusion of styles into creative, luxurious and personalizes interior design. This elegant home is situated in Wilanow residential district, Warsaw, Poland.
The classic facade of this villa make its interiors feel surprisingly dynamic. A generously-sized welcoming hallway leads the way towards the social core of the house: the open-plan living and dining area, which communicates with an outdoor terrace. The floor-to-ceiling white bookcase sets the tone for a refined interior. Right next to it, there is a fireplace panel, imprinting a modern look. Graphic art, paintings, various artifacts and decorations- all add up to a complex interior scheme.
In order to create more unified space, the architects decided to use natural wood, which appears in every place in the home, as a bonding that makes the spaces more visualy and physicaly connected.
The soultions, that have been used in this project integrate interior design with home architecture, its nature environment and landscape. Elegance, comfort and pleasure. A space for living, work, relax, receiving visitors and hosting guests.
