Global Solar Fund (GSF) is a leader in the photovoltaics industry. In recent years, the company has undergone a process of re-branding prompting the subsequent interior design of new offices.
The architectural and interior design project for GSF's Engineering headquarters, located inside a historic building on the Brindisi seafront, responds to the Client's desire to preserve and respect the past while looking to the future. Through the use of light and reversible interventions, the existing space is interpreted in an contemporary way, creating an open workspace and encouraging interaction between colleagues of different skills.
Pulling from the company's new brand, the design intervention reorganizes the distribution of interior spaces, previously without a hierarchy, through the use of color. In the management area, a gray color scheme is utilized, while in the work rooms, the walls are colored with warm yellow and orange tone, which recall the colors of the logo. In the reception area and in the meeting rooms, the color of the wall itself becomes a trademark or business card; a black background recalling the photovoltaic panels and the company logo in relief.
