产品是供人使用的,它应当履行一定的功能——基本功能以及额外的心理和审美上的功能。好的设计是为了提升产品可用性,对与此目的无关甚至相悖的一切都不加考虑。
A product is bought to be used. It has to satisfy notonly functional, but also psychological and aesthetic criteria. Good designemphasizes the usefulness of a product whilst disregarding anything that coulddetract from it.

汉庭,在中国现存2000多家门店,并且还再逐步成长中。
由于消费升级,经济型酒店的概念也不断地与时俱进,原来侧重经济实惠「够用就好」的酒店配置已经不合时宜;
强调「足够好用」的时代来临,面对消费者的各式要求,如何取舍国民需求成为首要挑战。
然而设计上的更新并不是为了将汉庭品牌拔高至中档酒店之列,而是在维持相同房价的基础上解决目前产品的不足。
There are than2,000 Hangting Hotels now in China, which grow continuously. Due to the upgradeof consumption, the concept of budget hotel is constantly advancing with thetimes. The configuration of hotel that originally focused on low price is outof date, but the era of "affordable but useful" is coming. While facingconsumers' various requirements, primary challenge is to filter public’s needsprecisely. However, the design update is not to promote Hanting brand to themid-range hotel, but to solve the current product shortage based on maintainingthe same room rate.
本次的设计并非针对单一门店,而是在应用至数百甚至数千家门店的前提下,考虑如何便于复制?
如何把控质量、耐用性、造价、施工时间?
产品汰换周期及材料应用的永续性……等。
「模组化」是我们提出对于复制性问题的解决方法,通过统一的工厂生产批量模组设计,让质量、耐用程度、造价、施工时间等获得控制。
This design is notfor a single store, but for the application to hundreds or even thousands ofstores, considering how to duplicate, how to control quality, durability, cost,construction time, product replacement cycle and the sustainability of materialapplications...etc. "Modularization" is a solution. Through batch productionfrom the unified factory, quality, durability, cost, construction time, etc.are controlled.

3.0客房模块化示意效果图
在客房设计中,从衣架、台盆、储物柜、桌面、床背板、卡座甚至是窗框、窗帘等硬装都是模组概念,统一在场外制作,进场安装。
而模组化的概念从客房延续至公区,大堂、电梯厅、客房走道的墙壁、天花饰面也是利用工厂制作色块板组合而成。
更重要的是,我们减少射灯、灯槽的设计,使图纸上点位的预留更少,降低图纸与施工现场的差异造成的返工。
Speaking tothe design of the guest room, from the hangers, basins, lockers, desktops, bedbackboards, decks and even window frames, curtains are modular concepts, whichare produced from factories. The modular concept extends to the public area. Facadesand ceilings of the lobby, elevator hall, corridors of guest room are also madeup of factory-made color panels. Furthermore, we reduced the design of spotlightsand light troughs to reduce reservations on the drawings, which could lowerrepair due to the difference between drawings and site.

上述硬装设计作为背景,由软装家具赋予各个空间功能及个性。
因为硬装获得造价的控制,让我们在软装的选择更加灵活,在旗舰店中,我们选配了意大利品牌B&B家具替公区做点睛之笔。
这样的搭配让空间经历变换周期时更加灵活。
门店大约每4-5年需要进行装修的更新,如何不浪费地球资源,组件性的更换、变化也是我们所考虑的!
Theabove-mentioned interior design is used as a background, and each function and characteristicare given by the furnishings. Because the budget of construction is controlled,we have more flexibility in the choice of furniture. In the flagship store, wehave selected the Italian brand B&B furniture to fulfill the public area.This combination makes the space more flexible when it comes to transformcycles. The store needs to be updated every 4-5 years. How to not waste theearth's resources and component replacement are also considered!

回到根本,酒店除硬体装修的更新,软件服务也是影响其在消费者心中形象的重要元素。
随着科技进步,智能控制的成本已经大幅降低,在提供更舒适服务而非炫技的初心下,除了应用由客户开发的服务机器人、自助check-in系统、客房声控系统等软件,更在有限的公区设计自助洗衣、动感健身区等配套提升消费者使用好感。
In additionto the renovation of the hardware, the software service is also an importantelement that affects consumers’ impression. With the advancement of technology,the cost of intelligent control has been greatly reduced. In order to providemore comfortable services rather than sleek technology, not only customer-developedservice robots, self-service check-in systems, room sound control systems andother software are implemented, but self-service laundry and dynamic fitnessare design in this hotel.

新的汉庭酒店设计是直观的,如同引言所叙,设计上强调产品的本质及便于使用性。
我们期待汉庭3.0能够因为软硬件的更新获取更多大众的信任,进一步认同平价却可靠的国民品牌价值。
New HantingHotel is intuitive, as introduction described. We emphasizes the essence of theproduct and ease of use. We expect Hanting 3.0 to gain more public trust due tothe update of hardware and software, and further recognize the value ofnational brands.
