Mediterranean interior design is proposed by the interior designer Rafael Senabre for this holiday home in the coastal area of Altea (Alicante, Spain). This is a project where the sun and sea have the same principal in the interior design and distribution of the space and the designer furniture.
The project arises from the need of a Swedish family looking for a home in which to spend long periods on holiday, in a markedly Mediterranean style where light and views are the protagonists.
This home must adapt to each member of this family. It had been completely restructured and refurbished.
In essence, ceilings been fixed, walls knocked down, cupboards opened, doors created. Finally, the details of the terraces and the living room were taken care of so that light would be the protagonist of this Mediterranean interior design and the sea could be integrated into the dwelling.
For decoration and furniture, Rafael Senabre relies on local firms such as Aromas del Campo or the furniture firm Momocca, which participates in this interior design with 3 of its sideboards from the Adara collection. These solutions act both as storage furniture and as space dividers and integrators of the different elements of decoration. Besides, Senabre added its designs to this selection, both in the bedroom and living room's cupboards. It is thus making the project as personalised as possible and exclusive.
