In the most symbolic street of the historic heart of Logroño, right in the middle of the Camino de Santiago, Hotel Calle Mayoris located.
Considered at the time the best 3-star hotel in Spain and with 4 stars today, this 16th-century palace was intrgally restored maintaining key elements of the original building. The combination of the original materials and those that came with the reform has created a blend of history and avant-garde that has positioned it as one of the 10 best design hotels in the country.
This symbiosis is already evident in its reception: while the entrance arch, the stairs, the column or the ceiling beams take us back to past centuries, the latest generation Inalco flooring, luxury furniture or the spectacular Foscarini lamp that illuminates the entrance convey the most current design.
In other rooms such as in the restaurant this contrast is even more enhanced. Original walls, Logroño´s black and white 1900 photographs, columns that held the building many centuries ago and even an antique winepress... Inalco flooring, modern kitchen and luxury furniture, all is part of Hotel Calle Mayor´s past and present.
Wood becomes the main element in the rooms. Arizona collectionis inspired by naked wood faded by sunlight and worn by the passage of time and stands out for its strong personality, fitting perfectly in the project. In adittion, Petra collection placed at the bathrooms´ walls and floors creates a monochromatic and elegant aesthetic.
