Mashhad Oil Warehouse No. 1 was established in 1320 at the Moghaddam-Tabarsi crossroad under the name of England-Iranian Oil Company and after the nationalization of the oil industry, it started operating under the name of Iran Oil Company.
This warehouse was converted into an oil museum in 1396 due to the long history of Mashhad in the field of distribution of petroleum products and the presence of pilgrims.
Eclipse Scientific-Recreational Complex is designed to refurbish and revitalize the Oil Warehouse and the distribution center of petroleum products.
Since there are a few spaces related to astronomy and space in Mashhad in the form of scattered research institutes and the only simulation space is the Saba wind tunnel, we decided to design a complex with galaxy theme where all scientific and recreational uses gather in one place.
Also, we are aware that there is no suitable interactive space in Mashhad, except for coffee shops and restaurants, this complex is an environment for gatherings suitable for all people with any background in the field of astronomy and any ages.
Different spaces of this complex include indoor and outdoor amusement parks, 3D cinema, classic gallery and digital gallery, simulation space, library and archive, planetarium, coffee shop, restaurant, office space and parking lot.
