器约茶室位于杭州西湖东侧的吴山名楼，在茶室空间即可远眺西湖风景。茶室主人是茶器收藏爱好者，希望利用这个空间收纳藏品，也作品茶会友，寓寄闲情的地方。

回归到空间，我们希望以一种更加“平和”的方式去处理。平面布局中，并没有给定明朗的动线安排，各功能区贯通，使空间布置更具灵活性，茶室主人可以根据心情随性摆放。对于原场地中的管道以及凹凸折角，采取的策略是顺势而为：顶部纵横交错的管道，包装成轨道灯槽；柱子阳角处，砌一道矮墙，形成意外的布景点；阳台移门附近的腋角结构，外包墙体，辅以稳定内敛的圆弧造型。

要让空间这个容器，与将来进驻的古典质朴、富有年代感的器物之间的关系更加融洽，空间的调性应该是器物气质的延伸。墙面、顶面采用大面积暖黄色手刮艺术肌理，色调轻重分配随意，表面粗糙质感是空间对人的触觉的迎合，为具有年代感的器物定下的氛围基调，也是对“侘”的隐性表达。橡木实木套深色用在家具上，是希望给空间增加古朴安静的感觉。
