For the past few summers, I have partnered up with my colleague and friend Jutta Geisenhofer to photograph homes built by Donaubauer Holzbau. We play separate roles for the Ingolstadt-based house-builders, Jutta deals with their communication design, and I deal with the photography side of things. During the warmer months of the year, we bash our heads together to come up with mood-concepts for each house, then style accordingly and shoot. And every shoot is a whole lot of fun to do.
I had taken a particular liking to House 317 that we had shot in Kösching. I found it to have the ideal combination of modern design and comfort for living. I admire this family home for its modesty and tasteful design.
