ID21 used imagination and creativity to design the offices for Amadeus, a travel technology company, located in Manila, Philippines.
All the walls of the office have been built on a curve or angle to mimic the shapes prescribed by Amadeus’s brand guidelines. With no sharp corners, the office offers visibility from all perspectives, making it feel open and transparent. A jeepney vehicle has been converted into a fun collaboration setting and incorporates the local culture.
To save their employees the inconvenience of traveling out of the office for lunch, the office aims to provide employees with everything they need in one place without having to leave the building. Amenities include a large pantry that caters for food for the staff, a clinic, nap room, nursing room and shower facilities. The design also aimed to inject fun and wellness into the office to create a culture and environment that will attract and retain the next generation of talent. Employees can wind down in a game room or ride a scooter across the large office floor plate to their next meeting.
