this Centre’s newly built architecture, aesthetics, and service design, creates an exclusive and distinctive luxury experience for the community. Its sustainable architecture strategy, people-oriented design values, and luxurious design elements present a convergence of eastern and western culture: modern Porsche elements united with aesthetics inspired by the rich traditions of Xi'an.

With a total area of 9,350 square meters, this modern showroom can accommodate 16 different cars simultaneously, showcasing Porsche’s full model range. The fully-equipped after-sales workshop provides 22 work bays and three direct dialogue bays, meeting Porsche's global standards for inspection and repair facilities. Its experienced and professional service team provide comprehensive advice and services to every customer. At the same time, the comfortable and luxurious lounge and reception areas ensure that every Porsche customer can enjoy top-notch hospitality and curated experiences. Porsche customization and merchandise areas are also available, providing Porsche owners with a welcoming space to engage with the Porsche lifestyle.

Gensler carefully approached each space with a sensitive eye towards the cultural legacy of both Xi’an and Porsche: by accommodating local culture into this Porsche Centre, a calming and restful sales environment full of art and culture was crea
ted, making it more relevant and comfortable for the local community.
Porsche Centre Xi’an Chanba stands as the first Porsche Center in the China to take this approach toward integration of local design culture. This philosophy of “Porsche Center for the City” results in traditional visual elements of Chinese aesthetics being woven into the contemporary Porsche style, creating a harmonious melody of form and function. For example, the Gensler design team was influenced by ancient history in the design of the store's stairwell, drawing inspiration from Xi’an’s world-famous Terracotta Warriors: the ceramic armor-inspired tiles forming a mosaic that depicts the Chinese name of the city.

Porsche
Centre Xi’an Chanba is the first Porsche Centre in the world to acquire the WELL Platinum Certification. From 10 different aspects: air, water, light, mind, community, and more, this Centre is entirely focused on establishing a healthy and comfortable environment for all. Reduction of air and noise pollution is achieved through environmentally friendly low-VOC materials and clever acoustic strategies integrating noise controlling surfaces. Light quality is improved through intelligent skyli
ght shading systems and eco-friendly LED lighting.
This Centre also pays close attention to occupants’ health, comfort and mental wellbeing when they are in the building through smart use of indoor and outdoor amenities.
A variety of spaces were generated through collaboration between Porsche and Gensler:
family spaces for children and parents fit next to spaces for co-working professionals alongside spaces for the staff to rest and recover through a busy day. Amenities
such as a potable water system, nature-friendly greenery, baby care room and barrier-free accessibility, indoor fitness and exercise space with showers, ergonomic desks and chairs, and edible gardens all enhance this lifestyle strategy.
Through a successful partnership with Porsche, Gensler has evolved a global brand strategy with the Porsche Centre Xi’an Chanba: targeting both consumers and corporate lifestyles, elevating experience into a new contemporary luxury space focused on wellness and cultural sensitivity.
