卡碧岛是蓝色大海上由白色岩石组成的岛屿。它是意大利最有名的旅游地，也是全球最佳蜜月旅行地。Capri Suite就位于这座明媚的小岛上。

旅馆曾经是古老教会的一部分，因此在设计中彰显出新旧共存与对比。

入口对着一个小花园，花园里铺着木地板，耀眼白色家具上摆放着靓丽的蓝色和黄色饰物。一侧的墙上堆起一组盆栽植物绿墙。

Living in Capri, in its genuineness, discovering the most significant aspects of the island, was the first idea of the Neapolitan Architect Giuliano Andrea dell’Uva for Capri Suite, a maison de charme which reserves reception & services of an Hotel suite to its guests.

The ancient building, in the center of Anacapri, is situated in spaces once part of the Monastery of San Michelle Church.

The Lodge, overlooking the inside yard, was a walkway between the Convent and theChurch. Nowadays it is the place where the breakfast is served. The stone wall lime- washed- typical Capri’s technique- shows the stratification of the structure over the centuries.

In the exterior flowerpots with Agaves and Cactus, typical wild plants of the island, are placed in a structure similar to a library high more than eight meters. This is a place where you can relax reading a book, sitting or lying on an old bed or a chair designed by Verner Panton.

The contrast is given by the furniture designed by Gio Ponti, icon of the twentieth century, and by the primary color Yellow.

A low pass through the wall connects the Lodge with the living room, a great contrast between the “old” and the “new”.

The original lime color, discovered under several coats of paint, different shades of blue and aqua green, are the perfect background for the modern furniture, so creating a suggestive styling contrast.

Over a desk of the 1958, designed for the Olivetti factories in Milan, you can find the opera-performance of the Neapolitan photographer Luciano Romano representing theartist effort of a reconciliation between the city and its inhabitants. In the living room mirrors placed on facing walls create a game of perspective reflections that resembles to an open window facing onto the sea.

The primary color recurs with the artwork of Gaetano Pesce placed behind the sofa;an imaginary door painted onto the wall breaks the strong chromatic original lime color; right in front of the sofa there’s a low table designed by Paolo Piva and a vintage ‘60s garden chair.

From the living room you can access to the Suites.

The intense blue color of the sea of Capri and the bright yellow of the Sorrento lemons have inspired the names of the two rooms different in dimensions and services.

Both of them has a private bathroom, air conditioning, tv and free wifi. The breakfast is served in the lodge and the in interior yard at any hour you prefer and the linen change is daily.

在公共客厅中，完美的现代家具与露出古老时间痕迹的墙壁—不同深浅蓝色和水绿色石灰层，优雅的并置着。墙上挂着一幅海景图画，对面安装上镜子，从镜子中也能看到“海景”。客厅里面的家具都是精心选择的现代家具。

从客厅可以进入两个套房：柠檬黄套房和海蓝色套房。套房有自己的浴室，空调，电视，网络。能在庭院享受早餐。

Yellow room

It has a 1800s canopy, art photographies and its bathroom’s walls are covered by textiles of the stylist Livio De Simone inspired by a fashion collection of Moda Mare Capri of 1972. The peculiarity is a wall on which the travellers have written down notes about their favourite places in Capri. Above all the room looks out onto the garden of the historical Villa Orlandi, place where Andy Warhol spended his holidays.

Blue room

It has been obtained from a part of the 1700s dining hall of the monastery of San Michelle. It has a canopy with rigorous shapes and textiles designed in the ‘70s by the stylist Livio De Simone. In this room there are vintage objects and contemporary design accessories.

The thickness of the masonry lets to obtain a bath tub with cromotherapy in which you can relax, in summer time, after a long day at the beach and in winter nearby the fireplace.

The peculiarity of this room is the bathroom obtained by the ex-porch of the monastery. The ancient neo-pompeian frescos, emerged from the walls, contrast with the rigorous shower block made of charcoal resin.
