ITA - Il Faro Brucoli, costruito nel 1911, si trova alle porte della Val di Noto. È situato su una penisola del Mar Ionio, accanto al castello della regina Giovanna D’Aragona del 1400 e gode della miglior vista dell’Etna. Con il “Progetto Valore Paese - DIMORE”, l’agenzia del Demanio ha selezionato sull’intero territorio nazionale dei beni di grande valore storico artistico e paesaggistico, tra cui il Faro di Bruccoli, per essere recuperati e utilizzati a fini turistici culturali.

Il Faro è stato opera di una sapiente ristrutturazione da parte dello Studio Associato Itinera, Arch Giuseppe Di Vita, che ha valorizzato il prezioso faro dell’antico borgo marinario di Brucoli, mantenendo le peculiarità della fortunata posizione naturalistica ed esaltando le caratteristiche architettoniche della struttura.

L’intervento di recupero, oltre a importanti migliorie strutturali, è stato eseguito anche per l’interior design. Le zone benessere sono tutte firmate antoniolupi: la vasca da bagno Eclipse Small realizzata in Cristalplant Biobased, il soffione doccia a muro ultrapiatto in acciaio inox Lastra, il lavabo trasparente Senso in Cristalmood®, diverse declinazioni della collezione IlBagno firmata Roberto Lazzeroni, il termoarredo colorato Bit, oltre a numerosi accessori come specchi e contenitori.

Tutti gli arredi sono pezzi storici disegnati dei migliori designer italiani come Joe Ponti, Franco Albini, Franco Zanussi, Rodolfo Dordoni, Antonio Citterio, per alcuni dei brand più iconici del design italiano, come Zanotta, Cassina, Arclinea, Molteni, Maxalto, B&B, Porro e Talenti.

ENG - On the tip of a strip of land where an ancient seaside village of Brucoli is nestled, right next to the fifteenth-century Aragonese Castle, of the Queen Giovanna D’Aragona, we find a unique place that smells of the ocean, of the sun and of Sicily: the Lighthouse of Brucoli. On the outskirts of the Val di Noto across the Ionian Sean, Faro Brucoli enjoys the best view of Mount Etna. Within the project 'Valore Paese – DIMORE” (“Country Value – Dwelling'), the state property agency has selected important historical, artistic and landscape value assets throughout the national territory to be refurbished and then used for cultural tourism purposes. The Brucoli Lighthouse is one of those.

Dating back to 1911, the Lighthouse has been masterfully renovated by the Itinera Associate Studi a roof terrace with sublime views of Mount Etna that majestically rises across the Gulf of Catania. Architect Giuseppe Di Vita enhanced the valuable lighthouse of the ancient Brucoli seaside village, but maintaining all the peculiarities of the blessed naturalistic position and improving the architectural characteristics of the structure.

The restoration affected important improvements not just in terms of structure but even of interior design. The wellness areas are all signed by antoniolupi: the Freestanding oval Cristalplant® bathtub Eclipse Small, the Lastra wall-mounted extra flat stainless steel overhead shower, Senso countertop oval Cristalmood® washbasin, some pieces of IlBagno collection designed by Roberto Lazzeroni, Bit decorative radiator, as well as numerous accessories such as mirrors and containers. For the interiors the designers choose quintessentially Italian contemporary interiors, featuring pieces by the masters of the Italian design like iconic pieces designed by the best Italian designers, such as Joe Ponti, Franco Albini, Franco Zanussi, Rodolfo Dordoni, Antonio Citterio. The furnitures represent the excellence of Italian brands, including: Zanotta, Cassina, Arclinea, Molteni, Maxalto, B&B, Porro and Talenti.
