The refurbishment of this apartment, a penthouse located on Vigo’s waterfront, has required an analysis of the hierarchy of the spaces, to understand that everything happens in a natural way, and the objective is to reshape the apartment.
The living room, the kitchen and the dining room, are lead onto each other to take maximum advantage of sun light. Open spaces to allow contemplation of the passage of time through the numerous windows. In contrast, north facing rooms provide private area which is separated from the rest by the bathrooms.
Everything is characterized by the geometry of the roof that allows us to play with the proportions of the apartment, changing the sections of each zone but always taking into account the existing structure.
