The Pérez Art Museum
(PAMM) designed by Herzog & de Meuron.
PAMM is a levitated amalgamate of concrete boxes, whereby a visitor flows from being within a distinct gallery box to occupying spaces between two galleries. This makes it challenging for finding available space for signage and donor recognition. To alleviate this dilemma, we proposed vertical form of signage that would alternate materials depending on donor levels or wayfinding needs. This vertical run text could be run up columns on the exterior, gallery door sills or other.
