This place has accumulated more than two thousand years trail of our ancestor, and once had so many stories, Jiangyan Fort, Hongya Closed Door, Paper Salt Pier, Zhenkou Ancient Temple, Light Red Ancient Pavilion, Dongchuan College, Ming Dynasty City Wall, The instinct of Xinhai and the "Three Horizontals and Eight Verticals." We carried out Chongqing's prosperous and vicissitudes stories in the grand Hongyadong building. Hongyadong represents Chongqing people who have survived in a challenging environment for many years. From the very beginning, Hongyadong's design wanted to express a visual ceremony, a historic ceremony, and a great legend that never ends. Hongyadong's architecture is more about the past years' sensibility from the metaphysical level. It tries to reflect the characteristics of the people who visit and the features of the city we are proud of across China.

Hongyadong hotel complex offers numerous shopping arcades and restaurants on multiple levels, with shops and exquisite dining. As a modern landmark of Chongqing, the building is impressive with its rather garish appearance. Nevertheless, visitors of Hongyadong restaurants can enjoy amazing views of the Jialing River, especially at night, when the bright lights come on.
