Xarxet is the latest restaurant designed by Piedra Papel Tijera Interiorismo. Located in Calella de Palafrugell, a small mediterranean village in the Costa Brava. With an intimate and sofisticated athomsphere, it differs from the regular beach restaurants . The interior design proposal responds to the special gastronomic offer that consists on an original variety of elaborated dishes prepared with the idea of sharing among other diners.

Thes concept of the project was inspired by the idea of sharing. The space is divided by a cross section with a monochrome space that contrasts with the other part of the restaurant. A monochrome blue tile zone combined with same blue colours that inmerses us under the surface of the sea. For the rest of the space we use light tones and natural materials that refer to the warmth of the summer, the sand, the sun and at the same time link us with the territory and its local crafts. A full mirrored wall and the iron tables give a point of contrast increasing the sensation of a unique atmosphere for a special meal.
