Set in one of Athen’s most renowned arcades, the City Bistro bar was designed to offer a lively and vibrant refuge for urban foodies after long days and longer weeks. 

Offering artisan pastries, classic cocktails and fine dining for guests, the restaurant design heightens the experience by emphasising space and atmosphere. High ceilings, wooden floors, mirrors and ambient light foster a base energetic mood, which is elevated through a red, mahogany and maroon colour palette throughout the restaurant and bar. 

Key details such as hammered metal on the bar front, marble table tops and custom graphite surfaces for the pastry bar luxuriously compliment the interior design. And animated structural details such as high arches, curved partitions and a geometric skin across the walls and ceiling also evoke the movement and buzz of the city.

Alongside key design features, the main lounge and bar are carefully curated into four distinct areas. Guests enter into the main atrium, which features an open kitchen and bar seating. Inside there is an additional cocktail bar and relaxed seating area, before a final section which features a classic restaurant space with a central service station.

On the upper level, a floor to ceiling wine cellar housing the restaurant’s extensive wine selection runs across one side of the room, and guides guests up and down the stairs.
