The project concerns the MES museo etnostorico della stregoneria located in the village of Triora, in the hinterland of western Liguria. This is magical, wonderfully immersed in landscape characterized by great chestnut woods and the mountains from which you obtained the magnificent black stone that features in the form only covers and architectural elements of buildings.
The Museum project was an opportunity to rearrange altogether the spaces of Palazzo Stella valorizing it altogether and making it accessible during the whole year.
The concept that underlies the exhibition design is to accompany the visitor, lover of the theme or simply curious, symbolic places frequented by those women call "witches" who made di Triora a place worship of this argument: the magnificent forest of valle Argentina, the giardino dei semplici - the gardens of Liguria - where the magic and the care of herbs, the dark rooms and secret of the process and of the Inquisition.
The visitor, while the path does not perceive immediately the contents, but discovers them little by little: large caskets with doors, drawers and magical cylinder, hide and contain secrets and wisdom traditions of witches and exalt him read more carefully, the historical narrative, scientific and fantastic that Prof. Paolo Portone has specially created for the first sections of the new Museum.
