The studio of Jose Barea Arquitectos has been selected to completely renew the image of the Maremar restaurant, located on the Pinedo promenade. We are in an environment in which the sea is the protagonist and this has been the starting point in the design of the project. It is proposed a space full of maritime connotations that convey to the client the essence of the environment in which they are located.

The space is configured by locating the main room on the side near the sea, thus favoring views and ventilation. The service area is on the opposite side.

This main room is characterized by the design of the ceiling, formed by wooden planks arranged in such a way that they symbolize, subtly, the hull of a boat, through which indirect lighting is integrated.

The materiality and tonalities used are inspired by the deep sea cargo of the place. The bluish and green tones, separation of spaces by ropes and the choice of furniture are clear references to the importance of the sea in the restaurant.

The intention is to create a transparent and permeable space where the client can quickly identify the different environments of the restaurant, maintaining a cohesion between all the elements that make up the project and generating spaces that envelop the user of the feeling of being in front of the sea.

El estudio de Jose Barea Arquitectos ha sido seleccionado para renovar por completo la imagen del restaurante Maremar, ubicado en el paseo marítimo de Pinedo. Nos encontramos en un entorno en el que el mar es el protagonista y este ha sido el punto de partida en el diseño del proyecto. Se propone un espacio repleto de connotaciones marítimas que transmitan al cliente la esencia del entorno en el que se encuentran.

El espacio se configura ubicando la sala principal en el lado próximo al mar, favoreciendo así las vistas y ventilaciones. La zona de servicios se encuentra en el lado opuesto.

Esta sala principal se caracteriza por el diseño del techo, formado por tablones de madera dispuestos de tal manera que simbolizan, sutilmente, el casco de una embarcación, a través de la cual se integra la iluminación indirecta.

La materialidad y tonalidades utilizadas se inspiran en la profunda carga marítima del lugar. Los tonos azulados y verdosos, separación de espacios mediante cuerdas y la elección del mobiliario son referencias claras a la importancia del mar en el restaurante.

La intención es crear un espacio diáfano y permeable donde el cliente pueda identificar rápidamente los distintos ambientes del restaurante, manteniendo una cohesión entre todos los elementos que componen el proyecto y generando espacios que envuelvan al usuario de la sensación de estar frente al mar.
