Shatoujiao Park is located on the mountainside of the Shatoujiao area in Yantian, Shenzhen. It is closely adjacent to the Wutong Mountain National Scenic Area and serves as a significant component of the Yantian Banshan Park Belt, covering an area of approximately 25,000 square meters.

结合梧桐山周边现有公园的主要特点以及对儿童友好城市建设的要求,沙头角公园被定位为一个集运动功能、儿童友好于一体的独特场所,最大限度地激活梧桐山边缘的活力,提供更为舒适的观野体验。
Taking into account the main features of the existing parks around the Wutong Mountain and the requirements for child-friendly urban development, Shatoujiao Park is positioned as a distinctive place that integrates sports facilities and child-friendly elements. It aims to activate the vitality on the fringe of Wutong Mountain to the fullest extent, providing a more comfortable experience of enjoying the natural scenery.

山海韵律下的活力公园 Park in the Harmony of Mountains and Sea
沙头角公园的设计灵感来源于盐田独特的港口文化、渔业文化和山林文化。团队将海洋线条、山体肌理和体育精神 融人设计之中,创造出具有多元性、变化性和趣味性的景观空间,为儿童提供与自然互动的机会。
The design of Shatoujiao Park draws inspiration from Yantian’s distinctive harbor culture, fishing culture, and mountain culture. The team incorporates marine lines, mountain textures, and sports spirit into the design, creating a landscape space that is diverse, dynamic, and engaging. This space offers children opportunities to interact with nature.

敬畏山林的低干预决策 Respectful Approach to Minimal Intervention in Forested Areas
1. 尊重基地现状,合理利用与改造基地资源:基地内包括登山道入口、现状护坡、现状排水明渠等设施配套,设计 中应合理利用并改造美化现状资源。
2. 尊重山体植被资源,合理保护与迁移植被:基地内主要是以荔枝林为主的山地,基地内除荔枝林外,现存有包括 榕树、荷木等大树,设计保留并充分利用现有可用大树资源,尊重自然、尊重生态自然资源。
3. 尊重基地地形,打造合理安全的景观:合理避让场地原有的高压电塔,保障游玩的安全性。
1. Respecting the Current Site Conditions and Optimally Utilizing and Refurbishing Site Resources: The site includes facilities such as the hiking trail entrance, existing slope protection, and drainage channels. The design should sensibly utilize and enhance these existing resources.
2. Valuing the Mountainous Vegetation Resources and Effectively Preserving and Translocating Vegetation: The site is primarily covered by lychee forests and includes various trees such as banyan and Chinese parasol. Existing mature trees should be preserved and utilized to their fullest extent, respecting the natural and ecological resources.
3. Adhering to the Site Topography for a Safe and Aesthetically Pleasing Landscape: Properly avoiding the existing high-voltage power towers on the site to ensure the safety of recreational activities.

缤纷层叠的活动空间 Colorful and layered activity spaces
公园充分利用原有山体的落差,塑造丰富的地形及竖向变化,形成不同的趣味游线。无障碍通达的“环线”系统, 将带领儿童游览各游戏分区;以自然探索为主题的“暗线”系统,围绕不同的“翻越系列”主题,通过小型草坪 & 灌木、 沙土 & 木桩、攀爬墙等设施,为儿童创造在自然中强身健体的游玩乐趣。
The park maximizes the use of the existing elevation differences of the mountain, shaping diverse terrains and vertical changes to create various engaging pathways. An accessible “loop” system guides children through different play zones. The “exploration” system, centered around different “overcome” themes, features facilities like small lawns with shrubs, sand and wooden stakes, and climbing walls, allowing children to engage in nature-based physical activities and playfulness.

通达便捷的观览流线 An accessible and convenient viewing pathway
漫步道与木质栈道的连接,使公园的流线和空间布局更加连贯、和谐。游客可以通过木质栈道进入漫步道,随着路 径的引导,逐步探索公园各处。两路相连所构建的慢行绿道系统,让人们在此漫步、欣赏风景的同时,亭受观览城市的 美景并进行运动健身活动。
The connection between the promenade and the wooden boardwalk enhances the coherence and harmony of the park’s pathways and spatial layout. Visitors can enter the promenade through the wooden boardwalk and gradually explore various parts of the park guided by the pathways. The interconnected pedestrian greenway system allows people to stroll, enjoy the scenery, appreciate the urban views from pavilions, and engage in physical activities.

儿童友好的安全环保之园 A Child-Friendly, Safe, and Eco-Friendly Haven
基于“儿童友好〞理念和视角,从儿童的特点和需求出发,营造适合不同年龄阶段儿童游玩的公园环境。场地内有 0-3 岁,3-6 岁,6 岁以上的各自儿童活动区域。在儿童聚集游览区域,充分考虑儿童安全性需求,保证游乐设施选材的安全、 环保、 耐用、卫生、易于维护,公园将为盐田儿童留下独特的童年回忆。
Based on the “child-friendly” concept and perspective, the park environment is designed to cater to the characteristics and needs of children of different age groups, creating a suitable space for children to play. The site includes activity areas for children aged 0-3, 3-6, and 6 and above. In the areas where children gather and explore, utmost consideration is given to their safety requirements. The selection of materials for play equipment prioritizes safety, environmental-friendliness, durability, hygiene, and ease of maintenance. The park aims to leave unique childhood memories for the children of Yantian by providing a safe and enjoyable space.
