The scope of this project involved the complete interior design of the apartment including customized designs for all built-in furniture such as the kitchen, wardrobes, and bathroom cabinets.
A restrained palette of industrial materials - raw concrete, stainless steel duct work, and traditional handcrafted Palestinian stone combined with , refined glass and carefully detailed plaster work to create a relaxed but crisp interior. The aim was to create a clean Palestinian-inspired loft-style home to maintain harmony with the surroundings; the design incorporated both industrial materials and traditional Palestinian materials such as beveled white stone, local handmade tiles, and traditional limestone plaster. The scope of my work involved complete interior design and implementation; producing all architectural, mechanical, and electrical working plans, sourcing all materials, as well as hiring and supervising workers and contractors.
