Americans are very fond of barn-style country houses – these are one-story buildings with a gable roof without an attic, which results in characteristic high ceilings in the interiors. Very often, such housing is a reconstruction of old farm buildings, but some people also resort to stylization. This modernbarnon Long Island, owned by designer Tamara Magel, was built just a year ago, but the owner deliberately tried to make it look like it has been here for a long time. And from the outside, it really does not differ much from typical old barns. True, the situation inside is a little different – bright modern interiors with original furniture and solutions give out creative owners.
