The beginning of 2020 got Pure-Mess Design unfolding one of their dearest hospitality projects – Quisine restaurant.
The lively location with a strong historical character, aroused the imagination of our architects and helped us to create a space that attracts attention through color and various stylistic accents, added over an industrial base. Our desire was to adopt a contemporary design, which would enhance and highlight the characteristics of the historic building, on the ground floor of which is the Quisine restaurant.
Intimate, glam, and wrapped up with a cozy vibe, this high-end resto-bar located in the old-city of Timisoara charms everyone right away. How? Through a decadent bar designed for never-ending nights matched with eight amaranth pink velvet chairs highlighted by elegant gold details. As you enter one of the dining rooms, the center anchor is represented by the surrealist backlit mural that completes and defines the entire dining area. Marble table design, monochromatic floor tiles and plants hanging from the ceiling adorn the unique atmosphere of this restaurant.
Chromatically speaking, the calmness of the blue hues is gracefully uplifted by the red chairs and the dark beige accents from the wall tapestry, making everything come together as a whole. The Pantone Colour of the Year is integrated on the walls and ceiling as the entire design strikes through color and audacity. The lush details and the original brick wall provide a one of a kind touch, evoking old times through a modern approach.
From the entrance, you can see the personality of the space: the vaulted ceiling that supports the apparent piping or the brick wall, left apparent, behind the bar furniture, evokes past centuries, to which we try to tell the story through a modern approach.
In the center of attention, however, is the end of the perspective opposite the bar, where a metal structure that emphasizes the shape of the room, incorporates an avant-garde wallpaper. This accent, through its language, stylistically completes the entire dining room. Also for this purpose, natural elements were chosen, such as the wood-textured floor, the marble-textured table tops or the hanging plant suspensions. The sofas and chairs want to offer the note of elegance of the place, so the predominant colors are red and blue, contrasted by golden metallic textures.
At the parietal level, we decided to use an equally artistic and poetic language, supported by a belt of ceramic tiles that convey the sensation of a white canvas sprinkled, subtle, with spots of color. In the secondary room, the story continues, the walls of interest being covered in wallpaper with reflections and golden texture, but one of them, through a glazed surface, allows the observation of the kitchen.
One can tell when details are creating a design to remember, and this project features copper lighting fixtures, kokedamas, and elegant color touches that are creating unforgettable nights with a twist. This hospitality design looks and feels just like the perfect place to catch up with friends or enjoy some time out.
The nights are young, and this Pure-Mess design adds a pop of color to each of them!
