Guiyang International Fashion Publishing Center is Guizhou Province's first high-end fashion culture release platform, with art exhibition, performance, fashion brand release, and other services. It is the future cultural representative of Guiyang.
It is located on the shores of the Yinma Lake. Its architectural structure cleverly utilizes a triangle plot, with the building's basic form being a geometric triangular pyramid with a side length of 64m. It features an 18-meter-high large-span steel frame with GRC as the ornamental base material, resulting in an exceptionally simple and magnificent architectural art space. The 198 steel structure components are structured into three sets of rotating fan-shaped steel member interfaces, providing a simple, elegant, and vibrant appearance. A towering 27 meter steel section provides the building's imposing height, overcoming enormous design and construction obstacles to achieve ultimate beauty and visual impact. The building's structure is clearly seen without ornamentation, giving a consistent visual experience both inside and out. Its fan-shaped steel components interact with sunlight to create a shifting light and shadow effect. Building energy consumption can be reduced by using low-e glass as a material to separate interior and outdoor regions. The exhibition's floor-to-ceiling ultra-clear glass wall, which reaches a height of four meters, completely blends the exterior vista of Yinma Lake Park into the interior. The basement has a coffee shop, a book bar, an art corridor, and an exhibition hall. The artistic corridor continues the steel component theme and employs triangular shapes to establish a sense of sequence that draws attention.
This work of art is a stunning combination of shape, space, light, and shadow created by a steel matrix and a glass interface. A pure body combined with a pure color, and an integrated architectural landscape interior design create a system of art integrating structure, function, and beauty.
