Designed by NextDore, this house in Christchurch in New Zealand, opens up to the outside through its spacious terrace and large glass windows.
Mosaics from L’Antic Colonial, bathroom equipment from Noken and a kitchen from Gamadecor, all strengthen the Premium interiors by combining minimalism and avant-garde style.
Christchurch, after Auckland and Wellington, is the third largest city in New Zealand. Located on the east coast of the southern island, one can find an exclusive single-family home that has been designed by NextDore studio, in which PORCELANOSA Grupo has more than played its part.
With a spacious terrace and a back garden, the main objective of the project is to guarantee the highest comfort for its owners. It is worth highlighting the exterior spaces, as well as the great indoor lighting and the selection of Premium materials. L’Antic Colonial is present in the bathrooms, which have been fitted out with the Premium series from Noken and the KRIONTM mineral compact in the overall natural wood flooring which NextDore chose.
Whereas the overall decor of the house is focused on minimalism where light colours play a leading role, the bathrooms provide an atmosphere of comfort with more intense tones. The Metal Bronze 3D Cubes mosaic is the main standout wall tile in contrast with the Habana Dark Classico natural stone floor tile, both of them from L’Antic Colonial. The space is filled up with the Vintage S Habana Dark negro basin, the Lounge deck mounted taps in a copper finish and the Unique basin from Krion.
The second bathroom banks on the black and white pairing to offer an elegant cutting-edge design. Catching everyone’s eye is none other than the Air Hexagon Black Matt, which is a part of the floor and wall tiles, which includes the shower. It is fitted with the Lounge taps in a chrome finish, the Arquitect wall-hung toilet and also the Essence-C heated towel rails in black matt, which are all from Noken.
And lastly, we have the third bathroom in the house where the Essential Hexagon Persian White mosaic from L’Antic Colonial and the equipment from Krion were chosen, namely: the bathtub and the basins from the Almond collection.
The kitchen, highly spacious, has made the installation of the Gamadecor Carnival model in the 7.90 Rustified Dust Oak possible, together with the Spring taps from Noken. This design has great storage space and an extensive island and panel area.
