Studio Gameiro is an innovative, multidisciplinary and design-focused agency that specialises in exploring relationships between traditional artisanship, sustainable design and bespoke solutions for interiors, lighting design, furniture design and architecture. We are passionate about promoting local artistry, designing with context and finding solutions to complex briefs, spatial and structural challenges.

This unique and singular story starts when our clients uncovered a hidden gem right at the heart of Príncipe Real, one of Lisbon’s most coveted and beau8ful neighbourhoods.

What made this discovery truly excep8onal was the balance between the ar8stry of a bygone era, preserving the exquisite cra_smanship of the late 19th century, and the incredible energy and drive with which they trusted us with doing something new and original, going back to move forward.

It proved to be a challenge that le_ any nostalgic aIachment behind, by finding inspira8on in the heritage and cra_, but reworking it with a twist by pushing it forward, test and trial.

In the end, the project is a testament to the trust and binding spirit between sketch/idea/plan, and final product, and it proved to be truly inspira8onal in which it layered every thought and move with the crea8ve freedom to mix and match. Born of serendipity, as it should.
