A duplex in San Salvario, multiethnic district of Turin, where natural light floods the spaces and the double height offers unexpected points of view. The intervention involved the union of the attic and the roofspace, with a complete renovation of the rooms and the building structure through the remaking of the roof and the insertion of a new dormer window opening the view of the Alps.
We have hung a 4mm folded metal stairs to the two ipe beams that hold up the floor we cut to create the double height.
