“La curiosità ci porta a viaggiare, la passione per la cucina a sperimentare”

La voglia di sperimentare è l’elemento fondamentale per la definizione del progetto Dhabbu: un nuovo ristorante nel centro storico di Brescia dove la passione per il cibo asiatico si coniuga con l’amore per la tradizione.

Il ristorante, all’interno di un palazzo storico del quartiere Carmine, riassume nei suoi 150 mq i lineamenti di una fusione asiatica tra ingredienti di richiamo in stile cinese, vietnamita e thailandese contaminati con il gusto e l’estetica made in italy.

Come accade per la realizzazione di un buon piatto, gli ingredienti materici del progetto sono stati il punto di partenza per definire la strada di questa fusione.

Bambù, vimini e rattan mescolati a ferro verniciato, effetti cemento e carta da parati caratterizzano gli spazi, creando un ambiente contemporaneo ma allo stesso tempo intimo ed elegante.

I geometrici portali in legno guidano l’ingresso delle sale, i disegni etnici delle carte da parati e la cascata multiforme di lampade in vimini regalano la sensazione di un ambiente esotico capace di unire due mondi molto distanti tra loro.

Sullo sfondo di questa fusione, i tavoli realizzati in tubolare di ferro nero e legati ai vertici con spago grezzo, sono distribuiti sapientemente nello spazio come rappresentanti dell’essenza dell’artigianalità orientale.

L’accurata scelta del colore, un elegante grigio materico combinato al nero e al resto degli arredi esalta l’identità dell’ambiente trasformando l’esperienza culinaria in un rilassante viaggio tra profumi e sapori d’oriente.

The desire to test is the key to define the Dhabbu project: a new restaurant in the historic center of Brescia where the passion for Asian food is combined with a love of tradition.

The restaurant located in a historic building in Carmine district, summarizes in its 150 square meters the outlines of an Asian fusion among ingredients in Chinese, Vietnamese and Thai style contaminated with the taste and aesthetics made in Italy. As it is the case of realization of a good dish, textural ingredients  of the project were the starting point to define the way of this fusion.

Bamboo, wicker and rattan mixed with painted iron, concrete effects and wallpaper characterize the spaces creating a contemporary environment but also cozy and elegant.

Geometric wooden portals guide the entrance halls, ethnic designs of wallpapers and multifaceted cascade of wicker lamps give the feel of an exotic setting that combines two very different worlds together.

In the background of this merger, the tables made of tubular steel, black iron and tied at the top with rough twine are wisely distributed in space as representatives of the essence of craftsmanship East.

The careful choice of color, material combined an elegant gray to black and the rest of the furniture enhances the identity of the environment by transforming the dining experience in a relaxing journey through perfumes and flavors of the East.
