Juice Society is a commercial interior finish-out located in Lamar Union in South Austin. With a focus on cold-pressed, raw, organic juices and healthy snacks, the juice bar is designed to provide functional production space for the brand and comfortable work and meeting space for its customers.
Spatially, the café is organized into defined zones for varied experiences in terms of seating options, privacy, utility, and purpose. In terms of materials, the durable and hard concrete is left intentionally exposed and complemented by warm and smooth plywood and white walls.
The subtle and visually quiet materials accentuate the vibrant and pronounced colors of the food and drinks served in the space as well as the growing plants hanging within it – a nuanced reminder of the natural and living ingredients used both for construction and consumption.
