BLVD26 is located right next door to the boutique Hotel Indigo Helsinki, in the trendy Punavuori design district – you can't miss it. BLVD26 serves wine, champagne and small tapas style snacks and appetizers.BLVD26 is not your typical lounge-style restaurant, because it is decorated in a fresh new way. We have used light-colored wood as well as light earthy colors in the textile materials creating a cozy space great for hanging out, enjoying a glass of wine and watching passers-by through the big glass window.The first time we discussed this project, I told Jaana that in my opinion, she represents the future clientele of the restaurant, so I instructed her to design it as if it was her own. The only requirements were to make it functional, stylish, cozy and certainly not dull. I believe Jaana succeeded perfectly in the execution of these wishes and she managed to pay particular attention to small details. I also appreciated the continuous conversation with Jaana, which was equally important to the success of the project, as was her ambition and commitment, despite the tight schedule. Without this commitment, sense of style and project management skills, we would’t have been able to achieve such an excellent outcome.
