事实上，这座建筑是一栋办公楼改建的公寓。

因此，我们决定围绕“当代

传统”“西方

/

东方”“最小

/

包容性”等对立面之间的紧张关系设计空间，从而获得试图解决所有“紧张局势”的“融合”风格。

日常生活空间被设计成一个完全开放的空间，厨房，用餐区，电视室，聊天室和阅读区通透而没有任何隔墙。

在电视区域，主要元素是可以滑动的装饰板，将电视隐藏起来。两扇是欧洲蓝色的大马士革丝绸壁纸，另外两扇是手绘金箔画。

以意大利现代家具和经典中式复古地毯为特色的会客区，是居住空间中最舒适的部分，天蓝色的

用餐区设有现代风格的壁炉，壁炉包裹在长条的绿色玛瑙中，冬天作为壁炉，夏天可以作为长条凳。一张泡泡椅悬挂在公寓的角落，从那里可以看到北京繁华的

CBD

美丽的景象。

designed between opposites - 350 sqm apartment in thecontemporary heart of Beijing

It's a 350sqm apartment located in the commercial heart of Beijing, the CBD, facing the'Guomao San Qi' tower by SOM and the 'CCTV' tower by Rem Kooholaas.

The projectmoved its steps between the modern features of the existing space and the needof the owner to have a cozy home, despite the curtain-walled facade and theimpressive view on one of the most contemporary skyline of Beijing.

The towerpreviously was in fact an office building now converted to apartments.

The wholehouse has oak wood floor in traditional French herringbone which works as'traditional style base' for the choice of space and furniture.

The dailyliving space is designed to be a total open space where kitchen, dining area,TV room, chatting and reading area float without any wall partition.

The Kitchenis an extremely functional, modern, total white and minimal space separated bythe living area by transparent glass panels to allow the natural light to getin. At the same time, as counterpoint, the glass wall is composed by a grid ofwhite lacquered wood which together with the ceiling covered by white woodboards and the wooden floor, soften the cold feeling of the total whitefurniture

In the TVarea the principal elements are the sliding panels which contain and hide theTelevision screen. Panels covered by European damask silk sky-blue wall paperalternate two golden screens done with the typical Chinese JinBo technique, ingolden leaves and hand painted.

The Diningarea features a contemporary style fireplace inserted in a bench, made as agreen onyx block reminding the Chinese jade. A bubble chair hangs at the verycorner of the apartment from where it's possible to participate at the impressiveshow of the fast rising Beijing CBD area.

The Chattingarea featuring all Italians modern furniture and classic Chinese vintage rug,reveals the coziest part of the living space, where the sky blue wall matchwith the warm colors and the natural fabrics of the furniture.

In the nightpart of the house beside the master restroom a SPA is accessible from bothcorridor and a secret passage in the master bedroom. The wellness area has asteam bath shower and a whirlpool double tub from which it's possible to enjoythe original view.
