The "type" station has a length of 60 m and a width of 19 m; the dock floor is located at a depth of about 15 m compared to the street level. In conceiving the design of this station, we have favored the transport, taking into account the high frequency of train passages, characterized by reduced waiting times. They have been eliminated all auxiliary items (toilets, bars, commercial spaces), favoring instead the speed of passenger flow, exercise simplicity and greater usability for security clearances, quality and comfort.
The stations appear as spaces easy to use, colorful and bright. They have been designed with the aim of rationalizing and minimize the paths inside, and in egress corridors, providing for the realization of internal volumes and the wider open as possible, with the aim of ensuring, complete accessibility to each type user.
The user, motor disabled can access the inside of the station through the elevators. For each station, the access path provides the use of a lift from the street level to the lobby floor at the docks (one for each quay). In the train, there are two stations for users with physical disabilities are able to accommodate a wheelchair. The station, on board the train, is full of safety belt that allows to stop the wheelchair, in order, to ensure the stability thereof during running of the vehicle. On the windows of the platform screen doors, which coincide with the disabled places on board the train, there are pictograms that clearly indicate the dedicated point.
The location, if not occupied by a disabled person, can also be used by mothers with a stroller, so that they can conveniently access and position on board the train. In case of need, in the atrium, in dock and board train they are installed the intercom easily identifiable and accessible, which allow to communicate with the operator who can then intervene in case of need.
