Liaison is an object that is also a manifesto, a free and essential monument to love, presented by FORO Studio at Piazza Missori during Fuorisalone 2017. Liaison is an urban installation where the differences of gender, ethnicity, religion and age are erased out: on Liaison, simply, you sit in a couple.
It is an object with a layered essence, which leaves its user free to choose the interpretation to adopt. Liaison may seem much more than a seat, just like a square that in an urban context can be associated with the concepts of relationship, exchange, transit or limit.
Liaison is a large bench that reinterprets the meanings and mixes them through multiple degrees of reading which arise from a simple question: can a single act of love inspire a revolution?
