高质量发展是当下社会进步的内在推动。教育界的改革重点也在关注学生们如何更加健康、全面的成长。

正是在这时代的大背景下，深圳市同济人建筑设计有限公司有幸承接了光明区凤凰学校的空间改造设计。这个项目整体投资控制在1千万以内，不属于企业追求产值的项目范围，但正是因为项目精小，管理方、业主方、设计方、施工方等各方精力更容易集中到项目本身，设计师们面对的问题能也更单纯地回归设计本身，在整个的设计建造的过程中又一次体会到不忘初心的快乐。

The high quality development is required by the promotion of the current society progress. The revolution of the education is focus on how to lead the students to grow in a health and varied way.

And under this contemporary situation, TJA (Tongji Architects Co., Ltd. Shenzhen) really appreciated to have the opportunity to do the spatial renovated design for Shenzhen Guangming Phoenix School. The budget of this project is 10 millions CNY, it is not a large – scale one, so it is easier for each department (project manager, school, architect and builder) to focus on the project itself.

项目背景 Project Background

光明区凤凰学校是一所空间丰富、特征鲜明的现代化九年一贯制学校。随着教育理念不断发展，校园内局部空间在使用的过程中与学生的行为模式存在一定的冲突。而且因为场地高差较大，一些高挡墙在检测后发现了开裂等安全问题。

因此提出了本次校园安全隐患整改项目，改造内容包含东、西校门升级改造及校园内部空间品质提升和安全整改。

As a nine-year education school, it has a varied spatial design and some distinctive characteristics. However, according to the development of the educational ideas, some areas of the campus are not that convenient as demanded.

And the crevices have been found on some of the retaining walls because of the big altitude differences within the site. Based on the issues mentioned above, the school decided to do the renovation for some area of the campus which included the upgrade design for the east, west entrances, and some other inside spaces to enhance the quality and security of the campus.

改造内容 Renovated Area

西门廊桥 | West Entrance Gallery Bridge

“游戏攀登，寓教于乐” —— 凤凰之舞

校园西侧有多个住宅小区，西侧入口是日常学生主要的上下学路径，但因场地限制，入口与校内广场的高差达到9米以上。局促的用地既无法解决车行交通，也给上下学的孩子们设置了一道艰难的攀爬屏障。虽然设计师们经常喜欢用攀爬的台阶暗合书山有路勤为径的古训。但当小学生面临大台阶时，往往是另一个景象。

所以在2020年开学初期，校方专门聘请了12人的安全团队在大台阶上为上下学的学生提供保障，确实是一种安全的无奈。

At the west side of the campus, there are many residential buildings, so the west entrance has become one of the main points on the pathway between school and students’ home.

As the limitation of the land and the height difference between the entrance and the internal square is over 9 meters, the original spatial design could not meet the requirement for the driveway, and the steep staircase even be regarded as a block on the way to class.

Even though the architects like to use steps to refer to the quote of ‘there is no royal way to learning’, it is another story when the primary school students were facing that huge volume one.

Therefore, at the beginning of the second semester in 2020, the school had to employ 12 people’s security team to enhance the security around this area to guarantee students’ security.

如何合理地解决场地高差问题，为学生提供一个安全便捷同时又充满乐趣的交通空间是我们的设计目标。我们的设计思路是营造一条能够削弱陡峭感、消除孩子们对高度抗拒的路径，同时激发他们步入其中并探索的欲望。

We aimed to create an interesting design to providing a safe and convenient traffic zone, to resolve the issues caused by the big height difference of the site. The concept of our design is to build a path which could reduce the feeling of steep site and also encourage students to discover the internal spaces created.

原本笔直又陡峭的高楼梯即不安全也会产生一种艰难的攀爬感。我们将原先限定边界的绿化高挡墙拆除，释放局促空间。将原先笔直的两条直跑梯段进行拆解，通过中间绿植的引入形成错动的上下路径，既丰富了交通空间也增加的孩子们行走的安全系数。

The original staircases were too steep and hard to climb, we have demolished the high demarcated green wall between to reform the space. And the staircases have been divided into parts by using the parterres, which make it interesting and more security.

空间最大的亮点是植入一个连续起伏的波浪形钢楼梯，钢楼梯和改造后的景观台阶巧妙搭接，形成丰富的上下路径，让孩子们有了多个有趣的选择。

灵动舒展的空间结构改变人们对传统楼梯的刻板印象，亦像起伏的山丘，也似飘动的祥云，或是涌动的波浪，让人产生丰富的联想。

多维的空间激发着孩子们探索穿梭的欲望，走在其中充满乐趣，让他们每一天的上学时光从游戏开始，真正做到“寓教于乐”的宗旨。

At the other side, the waved-shaped staircase has become the most distinctive characteristic within this area, it is connecting with the renovated landscaped staircase to providing more choices for the students to make.

The extended spatial construction is different to the normal image of the staircase, and the multi-dimensional space encourages children to discover the space between and to find the interesting aspects of the school.

东大门 | East Entrance

有凤来仪，展翅冲天。因城市的快速发展，原先南向的校园主入口因地铁建设占用校前台阶用地，再加上场地高差过大已废弃不用，校方希望在面向光侨路的东侧重新开设校园主入口以满足学校车行和礼仪接待的功能。

As the result of the quick development of the city, the new railway construction has taken some land of the south entrance, and as well as the big height difference of the site, the original main entrance at the south side of the campus has been demolished.

Therefore, the school decided to build a new main entrance at the east area to meet the requirement of the driveway and the function for reception.

局限的场地和有限的造价是我们面临的两个难题。为减少场地改造的不必要浪费，在施工过程中，我们协同施工单位在现场反复勘察确认现状条件，并且不断调整平面设计的方位和转折角度来巧妙避开场地下方复杂的管线和井道，最终形成合理的平面方案。

修长的校门通过左右层叠的飞翼造型内嵌出校门和城市道路的缓冲区域，主翼宽大的幅度自然形成校门的入口空间。两翼体量用白色铝板线条的收边，起伏灵动。主翼下方采用金色穿孔铝板，灯光内衬，到了傍晚形成星月交辉的奇景。侧翼层层折叠的金属墙面就像微微展开的羽毛形成深度的光影效果。整个校门的形态模拟凤凰的翎羽向两翼张开，轻盈姿态宛如翩翩起舞的灵动舞者，象征着“有凤来仪，展翅冲天”的美好寓意。

The shortage of the site area and the limit budget were the two difficulties we have. In order to reduce the cost during the reconstruction, we have done the site check of the original condition so many times with the construction department and keep updating the architectural plan to get the final approved one.

The entrance has been designed with the intersected and overlapped wing-shaped structure. The white aluminium panels and the gold perforated aluminium panels have been used on the underneath of the main wing. In the evening, the artificial light and the nature light is drawing a incredible image. The folded metal wall of the sub-wing looks like the spread feather and extend the depth of the shadow.

Overall, the new east entrance has been shaped as the spread wings of the phoenix, represents the concept of ‘the soaring phoenix’.

内部部分空间提升 Renovation for the internal area

操场 | Playground

原台阶高且略窄，材质为釉面砖，我们在原有台阶的基础上向外砌筑，将座凳台阶降低扩宽，并局部增加木质座凳增加舒适性。看台的背部增加凤凰字母符号及飘逸的彩带，增强了运动感，与场地的氛围相得益彰。

The original steps of the stair are high and narrow, we have extended the original one to make it deeper and used the wood for some of them to make it more comfortable.

The sportive of this area has been strengthen by adding the word ‘PHOENIX’ at the back and the flowing ribbons, which responses to the function of the area.

律动广场 | Rhythm Square

一个好的场地是一个令人流连忘返的场所，为了这个目的，我们将原有的台阶座凳进行优化，并将侧边角域空间变成生态小游园。台阶对面的楼梯变成风铃墙幕布，结果是小改大变化，学生多了一个展示才华的空间，让艺术的浪花在此不停的荡漾。

A good area will always make the visitors stopped and stayed. Aimed to achieve this, we have upgraded the bleacher-style benches and recreated an ecological garden at the corner of the square. With these intravenous drips, another art area has been created for students to represent their talent for art.

报告厅入口 | Entrance for the Lecture Hall

报告厅入口顶板管线杂乱无序，我们利用起伏的波浪格栅将门厅空间统一打造，将一个边角空间变成学生们流连忘返的趣味场所。

凤凰学校的改造工程从立项，到最后完工投入使用所用的周期非常短，为了不影响学校的正常教学，大部分工程都是利用2021年暑假的两个月进行施工。

在这么短的周期内，管理方、校方和设计方在前期不辞辛苦，短时间内密集的进行了多轮的方案沟通，不断完善方案细节，并且在施工单位的全力配合下，最终呈现了一个令人满意的结果。

At the entrance lobby of the lecture hall, the layout of the pipeline is massive over the ceiling. We are using the gold wavy grille to unify the lobby area and make it an interesting space.

It took a short time for the renovated work for Guangming Phoenix School. Most of the construction work happened during the 2 months’ summer holiday in 2021. During this short period, the project manager, the school, the architects, and the construction department made great efforts from the beginning of the design period to the final product being presented.

结语

Conclusions

我们设计了很多大尺度的城市项目，比如大量的更新、新建的建筑群，也同样关注微空间的人们日常生活状态，我们观察人们的行为模式，思考情绪对其行为的影响。我们相信，从点滴做起，做一个微空间的改良者，修正者。

Our team has designed many large-scale projects, and we also pay attention to people’s daily lifestyle and the quality of the living conditions. We are observing people’s behavior, considering the impact of emotions on human behavior. We believe that life could be changed even from some intravenous drips and are determined to be designers who can not only create new living and working spaces but also do pleasant renovations for existing ones.
