遂宁市体育中心主要有体育场和游泳馆组成，体育中心具有良好的多功能性，满足能承办省级综合性运动会、全国性单项比赛及全民健身的功能需要，同时具备休闲娱乐、旅游服务等配套功能，建设成为集竞技赛事、全民健身、文化娱乐、休闲旅游、经贸商展及大型文艺演出为一体的综合性体育公园。

SuiNing City sports center mainly consists of the stadium and swimming pool sports center. The sports center has good versatility, it can satisfy to undertake comprehensive sports games at the provincial level, national sport, and the function of national fitness needs. At the same time, it possess recreation, tourism services and other supporting functions, in order to build a large comprehensive sports park which constitutes sports event, national fitness, culture and entertainment, leisure and tourism, trade and economic trade show.

基地西南部为体育事业区，用地面积127524.52平方米，布置30000人体育场和2000人游泳馆。体育场位于在整个基地的中心，沿周边集中布置了人行广场、室外停车场地和室外运动场地（兼作临时停车场）。同时，在体育场东、南侧看台之下设置大量商业用房及地下停车场。游泳馆位于体育场东南侧，蜿蜒起伏的屋顶将体育场和游泳馆联系在一起，形成统一、飘逸、开放的总体形象。基地西侧的休闲设施结合绿化景观设计，既保证了基地西侧转角足够的商业面积，与滨水景观商业休闲带融为一体，又为体育中心入口广场提供必要的商业气氛，还保持了体育场空间形态的完整性。

The west-south part of the site is the area of sports facilities, the land area is 127524.52square meters, which includes a stadium with 3000people and a swimming pool sports center with 2000people. The stadium locates at the center of the whole site, it has pedestrian plaza, outdoor parking and outdoor sports space(temporary parking lot).

At the same time, it sets up large quantity of commercial rooms and underground parking lots under the east-south stands of the stadium. The swimming pool sports center locates at the east-south side of the stadium, winding-down roof connect stadium and swimming pool sports center together, in order to form unified, elegant and open overall image. The leisure facilities on the west side of the site combines with landscape design. It ensures enough commercial area on the west side corner of the site, incorporating with the commercial leisure area along the river. At the same time, it also provides necessary commercial atmosphere for the entrance plaza of the stadium and maintain the integrity of the spatial shape.

袖舞·帆扬  sleeve dance – sail fly

“袖舞”—— 体育事业区的中心由体育场和游泳馆组成，其屋面以绵延的形式相连成为整体，蜿蜒流动的建筑形体如同观音轻舞的衣袖，不仅体现了遂宁独具的观音文化，也突显了体育运动的蓬勃生命力。

“帆扬”—— 整个基地建筑布局北高南低，北侧为体育产业区，其建筑形体犹如启航的风帆，在体现遂宁西部水都、园林城市、环山卧水的同时，又寓意了遂宁城市发展的勃勃生机。

“Sleeve dance”—– The central area of sports facilities consists of stadium and swimming pool sports center, the two roofs continuously link with each other. The meandering flow architecture shape like the sleeve of GuanYin, it shows the unique GuanYin culture for SuiNing, and also exhibits the vigorous sports spirits.

“sail fly”—-The layout of the site is high on the north side and low on the south side, the sports facilities are arranged on the north side, the shape of architecture is like flying sail. It shows “city of water”, “garden city”, “mountain around and lying water” for the west part of SuiNing, and also implies vitality of the development of SuiNing city.

两环相扣 • 两区互动 Two rings buckle – two zones interact

“运动景观环”与“生态商住环”，分别形成体育事业区与体育产业区，既相互独立各自成形，又相互联系成为整体。总体规划以体育场为中心，结合游泳馆设计成对城市空间开放的环形体量，体育产业沿主要道路呈环抱之势与体育场馆紧紧扣在一起，以此增加体育产业与城市的接触面,并实现体育事业和体育产业之间的交叉渗透，最大可能的实现体育事业、体育产业以及城市活力的共同发展。

为使体育中心真正成为促进城市整体活力的重要元素，设计综合考虑了体育设施与城市整体环境的有机融合，采用功能互动的策略，体育事业区举办体育竞技比赛，开展健身会展活动；体育产业区植入高档住宅、沿街商业、会所、文化休闲等多种功能，使两区多种业态协调共存、相互促进，使整个地块成为城市活力的催化剂，最终成为代表新时代遂宁的门户空间。

In order to make the stadium to become the important element and promote the city vitality, the design considers the combination with sport facilities and the entire urban environment. It takes the tactics of functional interactive features, and holds sport competition and gym exhibition activities in the area of sport facilities. Many functions such as high-grade houses, commercial street, clubhouse, culture and leisure are all implanted into sport industry zone, in order to coordinate and promote many different business for two zones, and make the whole site to become activator of city vitality, finally turn into the symbol of SuiNing city in the new era.
