The combination of interior design and graphics is the strong point of the Manuarino studio. The choice of materials was important: walnut-stained birch wood, corrugated metal sheet in smoky gray, white Carrara marble, checkered floor, real bricks, raw iron. The layout of the interiors was outlined on the needs of work and consumption.
There have been many innovative choices adopted for this project among all: an 8-seater high table with a real olive tree in the center and a rotating serving ring, a large custom designed butcher block for cutting the meat on sight, bar counter in white Carrara marble, the large full-height kitchen volume covered in black corrugated sheet metal, the metal and wood bottle holder that rises up to 5 meters high, the bathroom sink resting on a yellow perforated sheet.
All the furnishings and elements present in the room are designed ad hoc by the architecture studio Manuarino exclusively for Happy Hours Fuorigrotta. The tables, the bottles, the sauce holders, the supports for the "reserved" slips, the business card holders, even the changer, all designed and cared for down to the smallest detail to provide the venue with a unique and highly characterized atmosphere.
