The design of the renovation of the offices of DIGAMEL, a company in the Lighting area located on the outskirts of Pontevedra and dedicated to the distribution of electrical equipment, was discussed.

The challenge was clear: Distribution and communication through design.

One of the main problems we encountered was the creation of these offices, of around 50m2, in the main headquarters of the company where there are also the other marketing areas that it has and its warehouse, but the real challenge was to take advantage of the reduced space destined to the offices and to look for the way to optimize it to the maximum, that had personality and that was present the product that they distribute, the Illumination.

The situation of these offices was in the foreground of access to the company, so a concept was created that gave personality to the specific sector and that did not contradict the global image of the company, for this purpose the receiver was also designed with the Main image of the parent company.

In the design of the spaces, the lighting, prescribed by the company DIGAMEL Iluminación, was taken into account, so that at the same time as functional, it could serve as a physical sample of the almost infinite possibilities of the products they sell.

Se abordó el diseño de reforma de las oficinas de DIGAMEL, empresa del área de Iluminación ubicada en el extrarradio de Pontevedra y dedicada a la distribución de material eléctrico.

El desafío estaba claro: Distribución y comunicación a través del diseño.

Uno de los principales problemas que nos encontramos era la creación de estas oficinas, de alrededor de 50m2, en la sede principal de la empresa donde también se encuentran las otras áreas de comercialización que posee y su almacén, pero el verdadero reto era aprovechar el reducido espacio destinado a las oficinas y buscar la manera de optimizarlo al máximo, que tuviese personalidad y que estuviese presente el producto que ellos distribuyen, la Iluminación.

La situación de estas oficinas estaba en el primer plano de acceso a la empresa por lo que se creó un concepto que diese personalidad al sector específico y que no se contrariara con la imagen global de la empresa, para ello se diseñó también el recibidor con la imagen principal de la empresa matriz.

En el diseño de los espacios se tuvo en cuenta la iluminación, prescrita por la propia empresa DIGAMEL Iluminación, para que a la vez de funcional, sirviese de muestra física de las casi infinitas posibilidades de los productos que comercializan.
