ONOMICHI U2，是由Suppose Design Office团队打造的一间位于日本广岛尾道市的极简式自行车旅馆。这间旅馆是由一个海边的老旧仓库改造而来的。设计师想用该“自行车”主题的改造项目，来提升该地区的魅力，从而为这个小镇创造出一个美好的未来。因此，他们在改造这个海边仓库的过程中，加入了许多能够代表尾道市特征的元素，比如尾道那些旧房子都会使用的木头、灰泥砂浆、钢铁，以及那些能够反映出尾道悠久造船历史的各种装修材料。

ONOMICHI U2 is a minimalist house located in Hiroshima, Japan, designed by Suppose Design Office. ONOMICHI U2 is the result of adaptive reuse of an old seaside warehouse into the new interactive space for Onomichi city, Hiroshima, Japan. The designers sought to achieve the prosperous future by enhancing the charm of this town with the theme of this project “cycle.” They incorporated elements into the re-creation of the seaside warehouse that were reminiscent of the character of Onomichi itself. The building materials–wood, mortar, and steel– recall the old houses of Onomichi and the shipbuilding that’s been such a longstanding tradition there.
