Tangent to the border between the village and the forest, this rocky house that rests on the base of a small hill stands up after some sliding down the slope. Its presence is the landmark of the entry into a deep and clear forest where, as the poet says, the walker becomes a prisoner of silence and greenery.

The project takes advantage of the legal possibility of making a dividing wall with the neighbour to turn the back on the human north and enjoy the south of nature; the garden, in which the house cautiously enters through a wooden passage floating on stake, has beeches, oaks and wild mice of the underbrush.

The forest stone tames the cavities offered by the natural mass to live in harmony with the environment; its relationship with the landscape is made from the cracks and crevices that are found in this space; and its entrance takes advantage of the ephemeral grotto under the unstable rock until the unfortunate day when it decides to continue sliding.

Tangente a la frontera entre la ciudad y el bosque, se levanta esta casa rocosa que reposa en la base de un margen después de haber rodado mucho o poco pendiente abajo. Su presencia es el hito de entrada a un bosque profundo y claro donde, como dice el poeta, el caminante se convierte en prisionero del silencio y el verdor.

El proyecto aprovecha la posibilidad normativa de hacer medianera con su vecina para dar la espalda al norte humano y disfrutar del mediodía natural; su jardín, en el que se adentra prudente por una pasarela de madera flotante sobre estacas, son las hayas, los robles y los ratones silvestres del sotobosque.

Piedra de bosque domestica las cavidades que le ofrece la masa para vivir en armonía con el entorno; su relación con el paisaje se produce a partir de las grietas y sustracciones que se disponen en el volumen; y su acceso aprovecha la efímera bauma aparecida bajo la roca inestable mientras no llegue el desgraciado día que decida seguir rodando.
