古时的平潭被称之为“岚”,而”厝”意往昔的住所,是福建地区极具特色的传统民居。“越寂岚厝”是我们又一次逃离时间的追捕,去追寻过去未被挖掘的那些乡愁离梦。
In ancient times, Pingtan is called “LAN”, while the dwelling place of “Cuo” is a traditional dwelling with distinctive features in Fujian province. The Koichi house is another escape from time, a search for the unexplored nostalgia and dreams of the past.

项目原建筑连结着90年代老平潭的记忆,保留着当时对于空间功能和建筑美感的理解,因而我们延续了建筑的原始结构,保留了本有的天井,将遗留下来的一石一木以新的方式,颂出一首更当代的诗。
The original building connects the memories of the old Pingtan in the 1990s and retains the understanding of the spatial function and architectural beauty of the time. Therefore, we continue the original structure of the building, retain the existing patio, and sing a more contemporary poem with each stone and wood left behind in a new way.

四周未开花的芦苇丛不断倾听着海边发生过的历史故事,对岸新建的海上风车却屹然超越了这陈旧的风景,让这座建筑成为现在和过去的重叠,驻立在这个寂寥海边同时存在的起点和终点之上。
The reeds all around listen to the historical stories of what happened by the sea, while the newly built windmills on the opposite shore towered up beyond the old landscape, making the building an overlap between the present and the past, and standing above the starting point and end point of the lonely sea that existed simultaneously.

当草色怡悦,潮汐随月阴晴起落,海似对岸诗人写出的那些句子。发光的蜉蝣散布滩上,累积着,向前延长。风从四方吹到房间里,来客在这里伏枕追踪,那些没被带到这里的故事,那些没有同行而来的人。就这样,思绪随海风越过日的门槛和月的眠床,一些留在旧陶罐,一些留在旧木门。
When the grass is pleasant and the tides rise and fall with the moon, the sea is like the lines of poets on the opposite shore. The luminous mayflies spread over the beach, accumulating, and lengthening forward. The wind blew from all directions into the room, and here the visitors followed on their pillows, the stories of those who had not been brought here, those who had not come with them. 当空间试着去解释一些断无线索的梦境,重构心中不断重现的时光和地点——仿佛现在所有的所拥有是虚幻,而早经消逝的那些才是真实。故而我们将光照于这些过去就存在的家具,把窗洞开在风必会拂过的墙垣,企图依靠这个地方,圆来客的那些过眼匆匆的梦。
As the space tries to explain some of the dreamless clues, it reconstructs the time and place in the mind that keeps recurring – as if all that is present is unreal and all that has long since vanished is real. So we shine our light on the furniture of the past, open the Windows in the walls where the wind must pass, and try to rely on this place to round out the fleeting dreams of the visitor.
