The Ivanhoe Aquatic Centre was a much anticipated project as it was an opportunity to showcase a different spin on one of our favourites: the LED Advance in its IP44 version.

While building new facilities and refurbishing the existing amenities, the Centre required a luminaire solution that could withstand the (highly likely) chances of water splashes, while not taking anything away from the aesthetics of the site. With the IP44 modification bringing water-resistance to the already stunningly LED Advance, there was no better choice.

The subtle yet striking angles of the IP44 Advance highlighted all the dark sections of the centre and complimented the work of the building’s designers, giving a sense of depth and life.

We truly got the opportunity to apply the Advance in all the facilities in the centre; from the pool area, gymnasium and reception, to the bathroom amenities, the hallways and café.
