老宅改造项目占地面积310㎡，院落南房卧室配套洗手间，外立面保留了原建筑北方古典民居形式，窗格内侧做现代保温玻璃门窗。为改善室内采光将原墙灰砖局部替换透明玻璃砖，突出时尚和视觉艺术同时也是老宅在这个时代的语言进化。

院落北房室内空间向南做了加建延展，为了更适合现代人居住正立面采用了落地玻璃门窗。除了卧室和洗手间还设置了舒适的起居空间。原建筑沧桑斑驳的木梁、檩条、椽子结构仿佛在讲诉着历史的故事。

院落西侧是餐厅和厨房，抽象白虎壁画突出设计主题呼应白虎头村文化典故。餐厅设置折叠门可更好的与室外庭院互动。
