The Stuttgart State Parliament building was constructed between 1958 and 1961 by the State Building Administration according to designs by Kurt Viertel. The House of the State Parliament impresses with an uncompromisingly modern design language - in architectural contrast to the historic buildings in its immediate vicinity.
The listed parliament building was extensively renovated over three years according to the plans of Staab Architekten. The original building fabric was supplemented with carefully selected, high-quality elements. A modern working environment was created throughout the building. In close coordination with the architects, the new meeting and conference rooms were planned with state-of-the-art media technology.
Our visually lightweight STAR product line was used to furnish the meeting rooms. Consultations and meetings are held at prestigious TALK conference tables, which can be quickly adapted to changes in use without the need for tools. As a result, the building and interior furnishings blend into a harmonious overall picture.
