我在普利亚区出生和长大，穿梭于乡村与海边，浸养于传统的乡土环境中。在我十八岁之后，才搬到米兰实现我的梦想和探索世界愿望。但正如大自然教导我们的那样，生命是循环的。少时离开乡野的梦想转变成中年回归故里的心愿。我一生中最美好的时刻一直与我在普利亚大区的时光联系在一起。回到亲人身边，在海边度过夏天，感受烂漫的夏日阳光，观赏生机盎然的橄榄林，聆听不时回响的清脆蝉鸣声。

Near the heaven, close to nature

Borgo Gallana 是一个乡村度假胜地，位于中世纪 Oria 城镇附近的 Pugliese 乡村，生长着有数百年历史的橄榄林。业主 Giuseppe De Vanna 在普利亚长大，因此该项目重新构建了他的童年“快乐的地方”。

Borgo Gallana is a rural retreat, nestled amongst centuries-old olive groves in the Pugliese countryside near the medieval town of Oria. Owner Giuseppe De Vanna grew up in Puglia, so the project reimagines the “happy place” of his childhood.

基于两个现有的农场建筑，巴塞罗那的建筑师 Andrew Trotter 创造了一个禁欲而又充满灵性的度假胜地，引导普利亚的乡土传统和与自然的密切交流。完工后的开发区包括三栋独立的建筑，每一个都有专属的露台和室外淋浴设备，并且在地中海花园中有一个公共游泳池。

Based on the two existing farm structures, Barcelona-based architect Andrew Trotter has created an ascetic yet soulful sanctuary that channels Puglia’s vernacular heritage, traditions, and close communion with nature. The whitewashed development comprises three independent houses, each one with its own terrace and outdoor bath/shower, with a communal pool set amid unassuming Mediterranean gardens.

Trotter 采用传统的建筑方法和本土材料，尤其是 tufo（软砂岩，为当地建筑材料）。

Trotter 对现有的两种结构进行了翻新和扩建，使其符合乡土美学的简洁纯粹感。

Using traditional building methods and local materials, most notably tufo, a soft sandstone rock used in local construction, Trotter has renovated and extended the existing two structures in keeping with the vernacular aesthetic.

客厅的拱形门窗进一步增强了空间的优雅感，而细长的黑色窗框和轻质壁灯，则分散地突出了全白色的体积。

Arched windows and doors of the living room further enhance the sense of geometric elegance while slim black-painted window frames and light sconces, discretely accentuate the all-white volumes.

厨房的定制石水槽和台面由 Trotter 的工作室定制设计，并在当地制作。其内的家具选择皆选择自然材料，以体现真实的美感。在不打破乡土氛围的前提下注入了微妙的现代感。

Bespoke stone sinks and countertops for bathrooms and kitchens were custom designed by Trotter’s studio and locally crafted, while a selection of contemporary pieces embrace simplistic beauty and natural materials inject a subtle sense of modernity without standing out.

three 餐厅

餐厅选用了一系列复古的桌椅、陶瓷和灯具，以及由当地生产材料商制造的一套特色餐具。银质的吊灯使得空间有了一丝现代摩登的味道。

The dining room owns a series of vintage tables, chairs, ceramics and lamps, and a soulful tableware by Puglia-based ceramics manufacturer Nicola Fasano. The silver ceiling lamp makes the room a bit modern and cozy.

four 卧室

卧室选用清新自然的浅色调，除床品外稍置家具摆件。透过巨大的拱形落地窗，可一窥乡野的淳朴风色。

The bedroom chooses fresh and natural color, and selects some pieces of furniture as decoration except the beddings. Through the huge arched floor-to-ceiling windows, you can see the beautiful countryside scenery.

室外花园

这三座房子都有良好的通风和采光、简约自然的室内装饰，以及专属的私人露台。客人可以在这里休息、用餐，甚至可以冲凉，因为这里配有室外洗浴设施。或者，在露天的游泳池中，客人可以窥见古老的橄榄丛、刚吐露新芽的柠檬树，以及经 Lamia Santolina 精心设计的植物景观。

All three houses feature airy, light filled interiors as well as private terraces where guests can lounge, dine and even cool down, courtesy of outdoor bath/showers. Alternatively, the communal pool awaits for an immersive dip among the ancient olive trees, the budding lemon trees and other indigenous plants and herbs that landscapers Lamia Santolina have thoughtfully assembled.

Within the feel of the old farmhouses, light and easy furniture, Borgo Gallana offers the simple life, a place to relax in the heart of the Puglia countryside.
