Palace Elcetricis not at all your typical design studio from New Zealand, consisting actually of one person – architect Ben Daly. So far, the company has only 3 completed projects, but their concept and approach are captivating – Ben finds the most boring and nondescript buildings (sheep barn or an old railway cottage) and converts them into eco-friendly and comfortable housing for little money. Interestingly, Ben does 95% of the work himself, as he is convinced that architects should be more involved in the implementation of their projects.
