The new foot and cycle path bridge in Bramsche serves not only as a vital transportation link between the new urban area and the train station and city center, but also plays a significant role in urban development. Its curved form blends elegantly and harmoniously into the urban landscape, making a high-quality design contribution to the city's appearance. Furthermore, the bridge creates new connections and enhances the quality of the surrounding areas, giving rise to a new city identifier.Designed with resource efficiency in mind, the bridge minimizes the amount of material used while achieving a span of 237 meters. The bridge promotes green mobility and provides a place for people to pause, contemplate, and interact with the urban landscape.

The structure transfers a common sidewalk and bike path in two directions, with a standard cross-section width of 4.90 meters between the railings in the area of the shared walkway and cycle path. In the area above the railroad tracks, a central girder is provided as an overlay due to the large span, and the bridge surface is divided into a walkway and a cycle path area with clear widths of 3.10 meters each. Wooden seating invites users to pause and linger, and the total width between the railings is 7.00 meters.

The bridge is accessible from both sides and is itself barrier-free, providing a comfortable crossing and a pleasant quality of stay on the bridge. The bridge's high consistency between design and construction aims to be a resource-efficient landmark by using a minimum of material. The bridge rests on seven piers and two abutments.
