This cool and creative bedroom for an 11-year-old set of twins (girl & boy) came as a request from their father. Before this, they were sharing a bedroom and the father thought it was time for them to have their own spaces. Both siblings talked and they both decided that the boy would get the bigger bedroom.

In this family, they all love to read, so in the boy's bedroom, the first thing I focused on was designing the custom bookcase, and from there, I designed the rest of the space! I used the same color in the bookcase throughout, you will see it on the door, baseboards and as an accent wall behind the bed.

In the girl’s bedroom, she had a smaller footprint, but we also made her room special by doing color blocking on the walls and door, creating a study nook for her and also by adding a fun touch with a hanging chair! Our main goal was to give this set of twins their own space where they can feel comfortable and for them to use for years to come.
