This project is a coffee store, located in Volos, Greece. It belongs to a well known Greek coffee chain stores company which is called State Coffee Co. This is the flagship store of all ten ones which are located in Greece and Cyprus. The design and construction guidance were undertaken by the multidisciplinary team of Lab4 architects on October 2015. The project was completed on December 2015.
The main goal of the design concept was to create a sense of New York aesthetics in combination with Italian design features. In other words a typical Italian espresso bar of 30's which would be situated in an Art deco environment. All materials and textures (aged brick, wood, marble, steel and concrete plaster) were especially selected so that they would give a realistic and natural image of a New York espresso bar.
